Our Policies

We’ve collected all our studio policies into one place for easy access.  Learn more about your membership, how our various programs work, our COVID-19 protocols, and more.

Heal Yoga cares for the health of our members.  We comply with all Provincial Health Orders and have adopted the following policies for our studio:

  • Reduced Class Sizes. To allow physical distancing, Heal Yoga is committed to small classes to allow members to maintain at least 6 feet between themselves and others.
  • Masks Required Indoors.  To prevent the spread of airborne droplets, Heal Yoga requires members to wear their mask while inside the studio, at all times.
  • Distancing Floor Markers. To ensure all members have sufficient space, Heal Yoga has provided small symbols on the studio floor.  Align the top of your mat with the symbol.
  • Regular Sanitization. To reduce the potential spread of the virus, Heal Yoga sanitizes high touch-point areas between classes. You can be certain you are entering a clean environment.

Please Note: If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you inform us and not attend classes until you are better.  Members who present with a cough or fever will be asked to attend virtual classes until they are well.

Heal Yoga is a membership-based studio; most classes are open to members only and drop-ins are not accepted. Start by learning about our in-depth intake process on our Memberships page.  You’ll discover the benefits of your membership on that page, too.

To become a member, please visit our Contact Us page and request an intake assessment appointment.  If you are not satisfied with your time at Heal Yoga, you can cancel your membership at any time.

To help you feel comfortable during your first visit to Heal Yoga, we have prepared an etiquette guide with tips for before, during, and after your yoga class.  You can read our yoga etiquette article online in our Learning Hub.  Even if you’re an experienced yogi, we still ask you review the etiquette policy before joining Heal Yoga for the first time!

Heal Yoga recognizes that yoga is a luxury that not all can afford.  We have created the Karma Yogi Exchange Program to allow members to volunteer in exchange for credits to classes.

Volunteers have been an integral part of Heal Yoga from the very moment we started to build this space. If you would like to be considered for the Karma Yogi Exchange Program, please contact us and we will send you an application form.

I like the way Virginia accepts everyone for themselves, including their abilities, size, and age. She's always willing to offer or demonstrate variations of poses or stretches if needed while encouraging each person to do what is available to them. Her enthusiasm is contagious. Thank you, Virginia!
